This year, I was lucky enough to score tickets to weekend one of Austin City Limit's Music Festival. And not just any tickets, VIP tickets! It was my first time attending an ACL Music Festival and I was beyond excited. My boss hooked us up with the tickets, scoring major brownie points from my coworker and I.

The VIP Grove at ACL Fest was fabulous. I mean really there was no reason to leave unless there was a specific band that you wanted to see live. The VIP Grove had complimentary food and drinks all day long. Yes, ALL - DAY - LONG. Food was catered by HEB and the Austin Food and Wine Festival and more. Drinks were flowing courtesy of Tito's Vodka, Topo Chico, Sweet Leaf, Boxed Water, and more. And there was lots of free swag to take home.

Not only were the food and drinks amazing, but there were spa and salon services offered (for free!) in the VIP section too! Hair was done by Blo.

Sunday, the final day of ACL Music Fest 2013, was cancelled due to flash flood warnings in and around Austin. I'm so sad for the people who missed out because of it and I'm so grateful that I got to be a part of weekend one! I would definitely recommend ACL to music festival goers and if you have the extra money, VIP tickets are worth the splurge.
